Who we are...
An arts organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating artistic expression within our community. Providing platforms for artists to showcase their work through events, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and festivals. We encompass various art forms such as visual arts, music, theater, dance, and literary arts. We envision a vital role in supporting artists, fostering creativity, and making art accessible to the public, through educational initiatives and community engagement programs.
Where we came from.....
We began our children's fine arts camp in Elkton, MI. In August 2022, we hosted 21 children for one week of camp. During this time, we introduced them to various forms of fine arts, including music and drama, which culminated in an art exhibit and performances open to the public at the end of the week.
As we experienced steady growth into our third year, we registered 72 children in 2024, allowing families to choose which week—one or two—worked best for their schedules.
Through this experience, we recognized a community need for an organization to support artists across all areas of the fine arts. Additionally, there is a demand for an organization that promotes accessibility to the arts through art shows and educational opportunities. Our dedicated Board of Directors unanimously voted to expand our non-profit to address these needs.
Where we are going...
Along with our wonderful children's fine arts camp every year we will continue to work towards offering classes, workshops and retreats. We plan to create online artist spotlights, we have a Plein-Aire group, host enrichment talks, lead therapeutic art classes, put together collaborations, work with communities on projects where we are able. Pop up art shows are in the vision, as well as becoming a hub for smaller groups and organizations.
